Jalsa movie review... by varma

Cinegola rating: ***1/2___Good (3.5 stars)

Tagline: Jalsa - not a movie, its a human sunami

Strengths: Pawan Kalyan, Brahmanandam, Mahesh Babu voice and obviously TrivikramSrinivas

Weaknesses: None at all

Must see scenes:

1. Mahesh Babu dialogues during Pawan entry

2. Interval scene

3. Brahmanandam entry

4. Brahmandam and Pawan comedy bits

Must avoid scenes:

Nothing to mention

My analysis: First half is superb with complete comedy and second half is both serious and comedy. Pawan Kalyan has a hit after five long years. Its nice to see Pawan in a very fresh and refreshing role. The movie is completely a director's movie. Full credit goes to Trivikram Srinivas.

Performances:

Story: Sanjay Sahu (Pawan Kalyan) is a magi naxallite who joins jana jeevana sravanthi and becomes a student. Bhagmathi (Ileana) and Joshna (Parvathi Melton) fall in love with Sanju but he falls for Bhagu. The remaining story is all about how Pawan gets Ileana and all the difficulties in doing so, which should be seen only on silvere screen.

Cast: Pawan Kalyan, Ileana, Parvathi Melton, Kamalini Mukherjee, Brahmanandam, Prakash Raj, Mukesh Rishi, Tanilella Bharani, Sunil, Ali, Uttej, Mahesh Babu (voice) etc.

Banner: Geetha Arts

Music: Devi Sri Prasad

Stunts: Vijay

Art: Anand Sai

Cinematography: Rasool, MS Guhan

Editing: Sreekar Prasad

Producer: Allu Arvind

Story, Screenplay & Direction: Trivikram Srinivas

Cheers,
